Home School Testing

MSTP provides testing materials for home school educators in Minnesota. Our testing options help home school educators meet the Minnesota yearly testing requirement for their students. In cooperation with the educator’s local school district, we provide a series of standardized achievement and ability tests that meet state requirements. We also provide career interest instruments upon request.

Our program’s services meet the State of Minnesota yearly requirement for nationally norm-referenced standardized achievement examinations for home schools.

Important information:

• All home school educators must pre-pay for their testing service. We accept check or money order.
• Results from the testing are returned directly to the test administrator. MSTP does not provide home school testing scores to the district (unless the district administers the tests) or the state.
• Completed order forms for fall testing must be postmarked by October 14, 2017.
• Completed order forms for spring testing must be postmarked by April 2, 2018.
• Home school educators can order tests after the specified postmarked date with a late fee of $15.
