Package: Moving Theory into Effective Action (Vol 1, 2, & 3)

$0.00

As the National Center shares information and expertise about health care teams and interprofessional practice and education, the question for many people remains “OK, but how do we actually do it?” Educators and practice leaders alike want to know more about the process of defining and measuring teamwork in interprofessional collaborative practice. They ask for tools to help them apply available resources to their particular circumstance and setting as well as clear, specific instructions and guidance about assessment and measurement in general.

Despite considerable literature on teamwork across many disciplines, there is a real need to better understand “teamness” in health care, and the best way to capture its effectiveness and outcomes through appropriate assessments.

According to Eduardo Salas, PhD, teamwork expert and consultant to the National Center as well as professor of psychology and Allyn R. & Gladys M. Cline Chair at the Rice University, “This is a one-of-a-kind effort that the IPCP world needs. The booklets are guides for the solutions, not the solutions themselves. They will help inform the practitioner about what to do and how to assess their program.”

After a comprehensive peer-review process, the first three guides are now available as digital downloads.
